Linda Morgan has been rescuing dogs & cats since she was a child growing up in a military family. Her three siblings also love animals as much as she does. Linda's late husband (Col. Bob Morgan) volunteered hundreds of hours with her rescuing & placing abused animals & those whose family could no longer keep them. Linda was a paramedic & is skilled in "bedside" nursing with serious or sometimes critical condition. She has only lost one pet - her own dog Mugs who she rescued. Mugs had been tied outdoors in the cold with no food, water or shelter & was "skin & bones". Despite her vet telling her Mugs probably wouldn't survive, he did under Linda's diligent & loving care.
