Kitty Junction Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(C)(3) nonprofit rescue group that was established by a group of animal lovers experienced in animal rescue. We are dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused and homeless cats/kittens.
Our Mission:
To come to the aid of abandoned, abused and stray cats by providing medical care including spaying/neutering and vaccinations, and foster homes until a permanent adoption home can be found.

To help provide pet food when possible to families experiencing financial hardships so that they may be able to afford to keep their pets.
To educate the public concerning the importance of spaying/neutering to help reduce the unwanted pet overpopulation.

Additional adoption info
1. Fill out our adoption application at our website www.KittyJunction.org - Be open and honest about your situation and what you are looking for in a cat/kitten. Give us the opportunity to match you up with a cat(s)/kitten(s) that will make your adoption a successful experience! If you have pets or did previously, we require your vet information and we will call them to verify that your pets are in good health, current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. If everything looks to be a good match or more information is needed, a Kitty Junction volunteer will reach out to you within 24 hours. By filling out our application, you are under no obligation to adopt the cat or kitten being applied for, but it does allow the foster mom to bring the cat or kitten to your home for the home visit. If at that time, you do not think that the cat or kitten is the one for you, we can make other suggestions based on the information you provided in your application. **While we are hopeful to approve all applications, we do reserve the right to decline an application if we believe that it is not in the best interest of our animals.**
2. The next step is a home visit, where the Kitty Junction foster parent and the new cat/kitten come to your home to verify it is a safe and nurturing environment. It is also a time where the foster parent can answer questions, discuss safety precautions and offer advice on how to best introduce your new cat/kitten to existing family members and pets. Our foster volunteers have spent most of their free time and many a sleepless night caring for some of our cats and kittens so a home check is also a reassurance for them that the animal they spent so much time saving and have come to love will be in a safe and loving home. If everyone is happy, an adoption contract is completed, adoption fee collected and the foster parent will leave your new pet with you so that you can begin to build a happy and long life together!
Adoptions are followed up with a phone call a few days after delivery to see how things are going. We are always available to help resolve any issues that may arise. During the adjustment period we encourage you to keep in contact with the foster parent. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions of the person who knows the animal best.
Adoption Fees
Kitty Junction Inc. is a non-profit 501(C)(3) made up entirely of volunteers. While we do not like having to charge adoption fees, they are necessary in order for us to be able to continue saving the lives of abandoned, abused and sick cats and kittens. Our adoption fees cover the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccines and FIV and Luekemia testing. The veterinary bills for some of our cats and kittens has far surpassed our adoption fees, some even in the thousands of dollars range, so any donations above the required adoption fee is welcomed and extremely appreciated!
Kitten & Young Adults (Under 3 years of age) - $90
Adult (Between the ages of 3 and 9) - $65.00
Senior (Ten years and older) - $35.00
With a few exceptions, cats are very social animals. For that reason, in households with no current pets, we strongly recommend that cats (especially kittens) are adopted in pairs. For families that work full time or who have busy schedules, cats adopted in pairs can offer each other companionship in both play and sleep for the long hours that you are not home. Cats that have a playmate tend to be more socially well-adjusted and avoid behavior problems such as shyness, biting, hissing, being frightened and hiding in the company of people they don't know.
Because we have found that adoptions have a much higher success rate when cats and kittens are adopted as pairs, we offer reduced adoption fees for adopted pairs!!
