Ruff Life Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all volunteer, foster home based organization. Our mission is to rescue lost, homeless and abandoned dogs from our community and the surrounding area. We care for protect and provide the animals with medical care, including spay or neuter, until adoption into a loving, forever home.

Ruff Life was founded on October 22, 2012 and since our beginning, we have rescued 350+ animals.

To be eligible for adoption you must be 25+ and live local.

DOGS: Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise stated. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested and up to date on flea/tick and heart worm prevention before adoption. Puppies are up to date on age appropriate shots. Adults are also up to date on vaccines and heart worm tested (and treated if positive).

CATS: Our adoption fee is $150 unless otherwise stated. All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, combo tested, up to date on age appropriate shots (FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies) and on monthly flea/tick and heart worm prevention.

Our adoption process is:
1. Adoption application
2. Vet reference
3. 2 Personal references
4. Interview (phone or in person)
5. Meet and Greet
6. Home visit
7. Adoption contract/fee
