Five Rivers Animal Aid

Animal rescue in Pocahontas, AR

Five Rivers Animal Aid is a rescue group in Northeast Arkansas that saw a serious need for animal rescue in our rural area. We take in abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and cats, get them the medical attention they need and all vaccinations. We spay/neuter all of our pets then find loving homes for them. We raise money to pay medical bills for the animals through fundraising, donations, and adoption fees. Although we can't save the world, we believe our small part is very important.

Rescue FAQs

Northeast Arkansas; Most of our members are located in Randolph county, but we help where ever we can.

Additional adoption info

All of our animals are fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered. We take applications from potential adopters that give a little bit of information about the type of environment the new pet would be in. We call veterinary references and if they check out set up a meet with the family including other furry family members if possible. If everything works out and everyone is comfortable and happy, the pet goes to their new forever family.
