Homeward Bound provides assistance to local high kill shelters by placing dogs in forever homes as opposed to euthanizing them. We provide assistance to numerous animal control officers in caring for abused, neglected, injured & aggressive dogs in need of emergency care until rehabilitated and placed in a safe rescues or homes. We also provide transport to various recues from high kill shelters.We require potential adopters to fill out an application. Vet checks and references are checked. If the screening process is passed than the adoption is finalized.
