Red Top Rescue was developed in 2004, when we relocated next door to Red Top Mountain State Park. Animals were frequently abandoned there, particularly cats and kittens, and several of us in the area banded together to help with rescue and placement. We have recently retired from active rescue and we are no longer taking in any animals. However, we still have some rescues from previous years who are in need of forever homes, and we may occasionally list animals fostered for other groups.

We are located about 30 miles north west of Atlanta, Georgia, next to Red Top Mountain State Park. We will not ship any animal, but we do not rule out potentially great homes because of distance if suitable travel arrangements can be made.
Additional adoption info
We have a standard adoption agreement to be signed.
Requirements are reasonable and will be discussed in the initial telephone interview.
There are no standard adoption fees, but donations are requested to cover the cost of our spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations.
