Remembering Ruthie Rescue

Katie is the perfect 4-5 year old Rat Terrier mix. She would require a home with a fenced in yard, another play buddy her size as she does NOT get along with BIG DOGS. No cats/kittens or farm animals as she has a high prey drive for squirrels etc. Also NO SMALL KIDS. She may do well with pre teens and older. She is high energy and would love to go long afternoon walks. She is house trained,leash trained but requires a particular harness as she can/will get out of a nylon one,she is crate trained also. Mingki came to us as Owner Surrender. They said she didn't get along with the New Puppy. Not sure how true that is but either way here she is. She is 10 years old and cutest thing ever. She just recently had to have a dental done as her teeth were in bad shape in front. She can shake paws with you & sit on command. She is dog friendly but I don't know about cats. She's house trained & will whine when she needs to go out to potty. Mingki is a sweet girl that loves cuddles & treats. She would be great for a calm house with a elderly person or persons as she can be Nippy at first so No children is recommended. She can be nippy if u sneak up on her,try to trim nails or groom her. Tony is a sweet 12 year old 16 lb mixed breed guy. He wasn't very well taken care of in his prior 'life' Tony has mild to moderate cataracts which means he has limited sight, he is mostly deaf but neither of those things slow him down. He has Grade 5 out 6 Heart Murmur and has significant heart disease which he is on monthly medications for. Again it doesn't slow him down but with that being said e needs a home that isn't very active. You see while Tony has alot pep in his step he isn't allowed to be over active due to his heart condition. Being to hyper active could cause him to have a heart attack. He will need Kidney values tested by bloodwork every so often due to his medications and another echo cardiogram ultrasound in 5 months to make sure his heart is still functioning as good as it can considering he only 1 of 4 valves working.. I know this alot to take in but Tony still has alot of Love and Life to give to someone. His story is way to long to post here.
