Candy Cane was my quirky black Pit Bull personal rescue who was overcome by liver and spleen Lymphoma in April 2012 after having battled it for 3 months with aggressive chemotherapy. She has inspired a hopeful legacy for some of the forgotten dogs in the Gwinnett County area and beyond.
Candy’s Legacy Black Dog Rescue, Inc. vets and places black dogs from shelters into the care of foster volunteers until they are adopted by their perfect family.
