Cause 4 Paws Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue organization. We help unwanted and homeless animals find loving homes so that they can have a second chance at life. Our organization is not a facility, and therefore we strive to get all of our animals into a foster home where they can be with loving families while they wait for their forever home.
We primarily work with the homeless and their pets, domestic survivors and their pets, and people who can no longer keep their pet due to extreme financial hardship or terminal illness.
We also work extensively with feral cat colonies and provide TNR.
We try to help keep pets out of the shelter and in loving homes, but only when foster homes are available.
We rescue many dogs from their last day's at our local Southern California shelter's and off the streets.
Our primary mission is to keep pet companions OUT of the shelter.
Through our partnership with Animal Shelter Count via Maddie's Fund here is our numbers for 2016.
Maddie’s Fund™, the Pet Rescue Foundation, is a family foundation funded by PeopleSoft Founder Dave Duffield and his wife, Cheryl, to help create a no-kill nation. Maddie’s Fund™ mission is to revolutionize the status and well-being of companion animals. You can read about the work that Maddie’s Fund™ does at its website http://www.maddiesfund.org.

Additional adoption info
Due to the difficult beginnings with which our animals have been faced, it is our goal to find them a happy ending; we want them to have the loving home they so deserve. In order to provide this for these animals, our adoption process consists of several easy but thorough steps.
If you're interested in one of our dogs, we'll ask that you fill out a adoption application and talk with an adoption counselor. If we determine that you and the dog you are interested in adopting could be a good match we'll do a home visit. If all goes well at the home visit we will proceed with the adoption.
Our goal is to find the best match possible for our rescued animals so that the pet and the adopters are happy and the dog will remain in his/her new home forever.
A $200 tax-deductible donation is required for all dog adoptions. A $50 tax-deductible donation is required for all cat adoptions. The dog or cat you adopt will have already been spayed/neutered, will have already received all his/her vaccinations and will also have a microchip!
