Husky Pack Rescue (HPR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit GA licensed rescue volunteer organization that focuses on saving Siberian Huskies and other working dog breeds in North Georgia. Our goal is to educate the community on the responsibilities of owning one of these incredible animals and to help find them loving, forever homes.
Working with committed volunteers, fosters, local veterinarians, trainers, we are able to rescue and rehabilitate huskies along with other working class breeds that desperately need our help. We properly socialize each dog, provide them with loving foster homes, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.
HPR serves as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
All dogs brought into our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested and/or treated as necessary. We stress the importance of these items to help reduce the overpopulation of our shelters with un-wanted, lost and sick animals.
HPR arranges educational and social events which highlight the attributes and needs huskies throughout the year.

We adopt our dogs to anyone who qualifies in Georgia and some cities in Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee. If we find a great potential adopter in other states, we are willing to talk with you about transporting, but we like to keep our dogs close in case it doesn't work out or their is a problem that needs to be tended to.
Additional adoption info
These are all the adoptable dogs that we currently have housed at HPR. All dogs have their own unique personalities, quirks and some times special needs. So it is best to call us directly if you are interested in one of our babies. We can then explain the dog you are interested in completely and you can make an informed decision about adoption.
Our adoption fee is $300 and this will cover their spay/neuter, all their shots, heart worm testing, first round of flea medication & heart worm preventative and a micro chip.
