Story
Kitty Corner Rescue has a grey tiger male kitten named Sebastian for adoption. He was born 3/31/13. Sebastian has had his first set of vaccines, dewormed, given flea and tick medicine and has had his ears cleaned. Sebastian is very healthy and has no known illnesses, Sebastian is litter-trained and gets along great with kids, cats and dogs. He loves to play and cuddle. I am asking a $15 adoption fee to ensure a forever loving home. If you are interested in adopting Sebastian please call or text Ashley at 518-304-3458. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you

Rescue FAQs

A Love for Animals is a private no kill rescuing working hard to save the lives of abandoned, abused, neglected and stray animals. We find homes for dogs, rescue feral and domestic cats, birds, fish, reptiles and rodents. All cats surrendered to A Love for Animals will be vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and given monthly flea and tick medicine prior to adoption. We do not spay and neuter cats unless they are 6 months and older. Cats that are not 6 months of age will be given their first set of vaccines and their second set in a couple of weeks if still at the rescue. Our mission is to get as many animals off the streets and give them a loving and warm place to go before finding them forever loving homes. All cats are given Purina One dry food with meat as the first ingredient and a can of cat food daily. All cats have free roam of the rescue and are able to socialize with other cats. If for some reason cats do not get along they will be separated. A Love for Animals keeps all cats indoors and we are 100% against declawing. We do the vaccines ourselves with the vaccines bought at Tractor Supply. We will give you a pamphlet on vaccines and the record of the cats vaccines. Also we are always donating food, litter and other pet supplies to people in need. If you are interested in adopting a kitten from us you will need to sign a contract that states you will keep the kitten up-to-date on all vaccines and get the kitten spayed/neutered at 6 months of age. If you are adopting a adult cat you will need to sign the same contract without the spaying/neutering part. Also in the contract it states the cat will be kept indoors (unless otherwise stated) and not declawed. If for some reason you are unable to care for the cat you will need to let A Love for Animals know so we can find the cat a new home. A Love for Animals also boards people cats and other small pets while on vacation or while your away at work. We also offer a pet sitting/dog walking program as well as a home visit for vaccines for both cats and dogs. All animals brought into the rescue will be given fresh food and water daily as well as socialization. If you are interested in surrendering a pet please call or text 518-354-1411. We also accept donations of pet food, litter, leashes, collars, carriers and toys. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you. Story
Moses is a sweet, small 4-year-old Cattle Dog with gentle eyes and a tender heart. Recently surrendered when his family had to move, Moses was clearly deeply loved—and it shows in his soulful nature. This quirky little guy may not be a purebred, but he’s Heeler through and through. He’s packed with personality and has a sensitive soul. Fast movements can startle him, and he may get mouthy when overwhelmed—but Moses is smart and responsive. He knows when he’s in the wrong and quickly adjusts with gentle correction. Moses is naturally shy and may have experienced some past trauma, so he’ll need a patient and understanding home. His ideal family will move at his pace—slow, gentle, and full of kindness. But once Moses feels safe and begins to trust, he blossoms into a happy, playful pup who loves a good game of fetch. He absolutely cannot go home with other dogs, as he needs to be the only canine in the household. While we prefer an adult-only home, dog-savvy teenagers may be a good fit. Moses has lived with cats and may do well with a calm feline companion. Moses is looking for a calm, loving environment where he can feel secure and truly be himself again. With time, he’ll be the most loyal and joyful companion you could ask for. If you believe in second chances and the quiet magic of earning a shy dog’s trust, Moses is ready to share his heart with you.

Story
Mariah Kitty is a sweet and soulful 5-year-old gray and white medium-haired beauty. Though she came to us as a stray, we’ve since learned she’s been passed through several homes, and she’s more than ready to find her forever family. Despite her past, Mariah remains incredibly loving and craves gentle affection and attention. She prefers to be the only animal in the home—dogs and other cats are not her cup of tea. However, she may do well with calm, older, cat-savvy children who understand her need for a peaceful environment. Her previous experience with a rambunctious puppy was very stressful, so if there’s a dog in the home, it should be quiet, mature, and respectful of her space. Mariah has recently experienced some gastrointestinal issues, which we believe are stress-related. With a stable, loving home, she’s likely to thrive and feel her best again. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be loved and understood, Mariah Kitty could be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Cola, the Heartthrob: Our dazzling Silver Marten mix is every bit as smooth as the creme swirling atop a dark espresso. This young gentleman is clever, charming, and ohhh so handsome. Cola is a busybody- your average rabbit puzzles are child's play to him, so he's graduated to dog puzzle toys (and wins every time). He's fully litterbox trained, loves his forage boxes, and knows how to turn recyclables into grand puzzle adventures. Truly, Cola is a living reminder that rabbits are so much more than people realize- they're intelligent, social, and full of personality. He's even made friends with a cat, sharing calm company and cozy vibes. Cola would love a peaceful home with plenty of space to stretch, explore, and show off his signature binkies- those joyful, silly hops that say, "I love life and I love you!" Whoever adopts Cola won't just get a rabbit- they'll get a tiny, expressive best friend who's ready to show the just how magical and fun life with a house bunny can be! If you would love to meet Cola, please click the grey "Apply For Adoption" button.

Story
Hi! I’m Abileen, but you can call me Abby! I’m a 7-year-old, 64-pound girl with a happy smile. If you’re looking for a smart pup, you will be amazed at what I can do. I am an excellent puzzle toy solver and will find ways to play fetch by myself in the yard. I’m in search of a family that will give me lots of mental stimulation and wants to interact with me during play and training. I love to learn new things and would like for you to be the one to teach me! I’ve previously lived with children but need to be in a pet-free home. Balls are my favorite thing in the world and being near my people. I’m crate trained and housebroken. A fenced in yard is preferred!
