The Amanda Foundation was founded in 1976, and has since placed thousands of homeless animals. It is a nonprofit organization that rescues dogs and cats who, through no fault of their own, are spending their last days at City and County Shelters.

Additional adoption info
We show the dogs and cats at our North Foothill location in Beverly Hills EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK, between the hours of 11am and 3pm. We require home-checks. Our adoption donation for a dog is $250. Our adoption donation for a cat is $125. Each pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated up to the point that the animal's age will allow, dewormed, and micro-chipped. We operate our own full-service animal hospital; Dr. Shipp's Animal Hospital. Therefore, each animal that joins our program has lived under the care of a veterinarian from the moment it walks in the door.
