Coastal Canine Rescue

Dog rescue in Wilmington, NC

We are a small group of people that work full time at "normal" jobs, but we also feel in our hearts that we want to make a difference. Each of us have multiple pets and we just want to share our love with the pets that other people discard for one reason or another. We want to show that abandoned, lost or hurt dog that there is still love in the world and we can find it for them.

Rescue FAQs

We take in owner surrenders to save them from the trauma of gong to a local shelter. We also visit local shelters and pull the most urgent dogs whose time has run out and that otherwise would be euthanized.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is similar to other Rescue groups. You will need to fill out an adoption application, provide a vet reference and tell us a little about yourself and why you want to adopt a rescue dog. Our adoption fees are $200 to $325 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm testing/heartworm free, wormings and spay or neutering of the dog. Senior dog adoption fees may be waived depending on the age and health of the dog.
