The Georgia Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization that rescues pets from high risk euth shelters throughout the state of Georgia. Georgia Humane Society also assists with cruelty and neglect cases when needed or provide information to the public if they have questions regarding possible cruelty/neglect situations.

Additional adoption info
All of our adoptable pets are disease tested, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, spayed or neutered and microchipped. Adoption fees for dogs are $200 and include all vetting and a 30 day complimentary health insurance policy that covers up to $750 of medical/vet services for illness within first 30 days of adoption. Our cat adoption fees are $150 and includes all initial vetting as well and also comes with 30 day health insurance policy with same coverage. People interested in adopting need to fill out adoption application on our website so that we can make sure that the pet you are interested in adopting is a good match for you both (i.e. if good with other pets, kids, etc)
