Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center is a 100% no-kill no-excuse animal shelter dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing the abandoned pets of Santa Paula, California.
We aim to do this through educating the community and partnering with other rescue groups. We are the first and only no-kill animal shelter in Ventura County.

Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC) is Ventura County's first and only no-kill animal shelter. We serve the city of Santa Paula, California, by taking in its homeless pets and educating the community. Our aim is to provide a no-kill solution to our city's homeless pet population.

Our adoption process includes an application, an interview to match potential adopters with the right pet, and an adoption fee. For dogs, the fee is $125.00 and includes the spay/neuter, the microchip and its registration, up-to-date vaccinations, and the license if you reside in Santa Paula. Puppies start at $200.00 and up.Large dogs require a home check.
For cats, the fee is $100.00 and includes the spay/neuter, the microchip and its registration, and up-to-date vaccinations. Kittens are $125.00
