Rescue FAQs

We are the special forces of cat rescues and we rescue primarily "last chance" kitties from animal shelters, abandonment or other crises. We are 501c3 with a Georgia shelter license. We are saving lives, one paw at a time.
CatRangers is focused on Georgia and the Southeastern US and is an advocate for shelters and animal control agencies in many rural areas.

Additional adoption info

Even if you haven't selected a kitty, pre-approval is a great idea. Our adoption team is very busy so please be patient (and consider volunteering to help on our website!)

Please go to our website at www.catrangers.org for adoption application or see link below. Once you have completed form and are in our system our adoption team will contact you and work to help you select a great kitty and navigate the approval process.

Adoptions are at our Adoption and Visitor Center in Historic Buford, Ga. , You can always make an appointment to meet our kitties by calling 770-831-5513. Sometimes it is easier to reach us by emailing an appointment request to info@catrangers.com Our regular hours are from 12-5 on Saturday and Sunday and 11-4 Tuesday and Thursday and 11-1 Monday, Wednesday and Friday though schedules vary with COVID right now. Our adoption fees are $155 and include spay/neuter, combo testing, vaccines and flea treatments and de-worming. Most cats are also micro-chipped.
