Everyday, wonderful unwanted dogs are abandoned, left on the streets and end up in our overcrowded Lorain County Dog Kennel. K9REZQ is dedicated to rescuing these
innocent canines who have been neglected and at risk for euthanasia and helping each one find a loving FOREVER family!
We primarily focus on pulling fantastic canines at risk of being 'put down'. The dog is then placed in their foster home. During this time the dog is given a health check, given needed medical care, observed for personality traits, temperament tests, trained and when deemed healthy and ready is posted for adoption. Being able to dog, cat, and kid test in our own home is a plus for the family looking to adopt one of our awesome canines! We do not have a 'physical' shelter; therefore, we are limited to the number of dogs available for adoption until foster homes are expanded. The more fosters we have, the more canines we can save! Contact us if you have an interest in becoming a foster.
We started pulling pound dogs and re-homing on our own over 10 years ago. We have been involved as volunteers/fosters for local rescue group for over 7 years. Our hearts have always gone out to the pound dogs, visiting often, walking away discouraged knowing all of the wonderful dogs sitting there scared and confused now at risk due to overcrowding. We knew we had to go back to where the passion began...which leads to the beginning of
