Rescue FAQs

Saving Argo Dog Rescue is a network of foster families for dogs in danger of euthanization at local kill shelters. With us they get veterinary care, are spayed/ neutered, and receive vaccines and whatever else they need to be healthy and happy - not to mention the chance to be adopted by a loving family. We bring these unwanted dogs into our homes and show them what many of them have never experienced before, love. Our adoption fees are small and our wonderful volunteers dedicate enormous amounts of time to help these amazing dogs, we are all "dog people" to say the least!
We are a network of foster families located in West Michigan, primarily serving the greater Grand Rapids area (however, we are always open to out-of-town adoptions if it is a perfect fit).

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be filled out prior to each adoption. Each application will be reviewed after a $5 non-refundable application fee has been paid. Adoption fees generally range from $80-$150 and are non-refundable. Fees cover the spay/neuter of your pup, as well as being up to date on all shots, and a heartworm preventative (appropriate to age).
