Serendipity in NC Animal Rescue

Animal rescue in Mt. Gilead, NC

We are a family of animal-lovers who is compelled to reduce the number of unwanted, stray, abused or neglected animals by fostering, rehabilitating, training and adopting out the animals we rescue. We believe that, with the proper training and socialization, a dog can find its forever home with people who are willing to provide for both the unique physical and psychological needs of that particular animal. Our goals are to help educate people about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, to encourage families to make a commitment to their pet for the extent of its lifetime, and to help provide the skills needed to understand animal behavior and the importance of being an effective pack leader.

Rescue FAQs

Serendipity in NC Animal Rescue helps unwanted, stray, abandoned, abused and neglected animals in the North and South Carolina areas find loving forever homes.

Additional adoption info

In order to adopt on of our wonderful pets, we require an adoption application to be filled out by all potential adopters. We then set up a time for the family to meet the pet they are interested in to make sure that pet is the right fit. We do require a signed contract stating that if the family is ever unable to care for that pet anymore, they will bring him/her back to us. There is an adoption fee associated with all of our rescue pets. It ranges anywhere from $50 to $150 depending on the amount of vet care that was required for that particular pet. This adoption fee helps us continue rescuing animals and providing veterinary care for them.
