Pets for Disabled Americans

Animal rescue in Riverside, CA

We have been in existence since 1996 and have placed 100"s of dogs and cats in their forever homes. Our profits and donations are used to feed the rescue pets, shelter expenses, vaccinations and other Veterinary procedures necessitated by law before adoption. When excess donations are available we feed and provide Veterinary procedures for the pets of disabled/veterans/elderly and the economically challenged (poor). This is what we strive to do but as the economy fluctuates so do our donations and sometimes we can't always accommodate everyone's needs.

Rescue FAQs

We believe that there are families everywhere just waiting to provide loving homes for our rescues. Therefore we do not limit ourselves to a particular city, county or state. Each potential adoptee is treated alike despite their geographical residence, sexual orientation or race.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires a first time phone contact. Emails and text messages are OK but the adoption inquiry/process STARTS with your phone call. We require a personal visit to our location or that of the Foster to spend time with the pets that you are interested in. You are welcome to bring the whole family as well as any other pets in the family. We do have a short informational email and a short contract upon adoption. As per California Law for Rescues there is a Adoptional Donation.
