We started out rescuing Dachshunds by chance. We were asked to foster a mother and her 3 pups that were left at a shelter in Stephenville, Texas. It just went from there. We have 7 Doxies of our own, all but one is a rescue. When we moved from Stephenville back to Lubbock, we purchased our home with the rescue in mind. Lots of land and outside the city limits. We love the breed and try to do all we can. We can only house 5-6 right now but are building new kennels and hope to be able to take in up to 20 in the spring of 2012.
