Rescued Pound Pals

Dog rescue in Slatington, PA

Rescued Pound Pals is a small home based rescue. Our mission is to provide sanctuary and to find forever homes for various breeds of dogs mainly rescued from rural, often high-kill, shelters. Our goal is to provide a second chance for our four-legged friends who have 'run out-of-time' at their local shelters.

Additional adoption info

All Rescued Pound Pals dogs over 6 months are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up-to-date on vaccinations including a one-year rabies, micro-chipped, dewormed, Heart worm tested and are on monthly heart worm preventative. In the warmer months of the year, our dogs are also on a flea and tick preventative. The adoption fee for dogs up to 7 years of age is $200. Senior dogs 7 yrs and older may be adopted for a reduced fee of $75. All puppies under 6 months old adoption fees are $200 with a refund of $50 when proof of spay and neuter if provided. They are up to date on vaccines depending on age,micro-chipped, dewormed and are treated with flea and tick preventative. Since all of our dogs come from shelters and have been stray or abandoned at least once in their lives, we want to make sure that their next home is for keeps. That’s why each adoption comes with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a perfect match before the adoption is finalized.

Dogs can be sponsered to help lower the cost of an adoption fee. To sponser a dog please email us at rescuedpoundpals@yahoo.com
