N.B.S Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue that focuses 100% of our energy, time, money, and effort on providing the best care, training, and home environment for the dogs in our care as we work diligently towards finding loving adoptive homes for them.
We pride ourselves on being completely up front with our supporters, post our financial records on a monthly basis for our donors to see exactly what their generous donations are being used for, promptly return phone calls and e-mails, encourage and nurture a positive relationship with our volunteers, support other animal rescues efforts, and refuse to allow the drama often associated with animal rescue to deter our efforts.
While we recognize that we can't do everything, we know we can do something to help animals in need. N.B.S. Animal Rescue is Not Breed Specific and is founded in honor of several rescue dogs who left lasting paw prints on our hearts.

Think you've found your new best friend, the love of your life, or a fur-baby to love forever on our rescue's Adopt-A-Pet site???
THAT'S GREAT!!! We're so happy you've fallen in love with one of our very deserving dogs! Let us help you get the ball rolling!
Here's what our adoption process consists of:
1.) We ask that you visit our website at www.nbsanimalrescue.com to fill out an online adoption application. In the application we will ask that you tell us a little bit about yourself, your home, your current and past pets, how you will help your new pet become comfortable in their new home, and we will ask for a veterinarians contact name and number as well as three personal references that we can speak to.
2.) Once we receive your application one of our dedicated adoption specialists will review your application carefully, contact your veterinarian and all three personal references and speak to you on the phone to clear up any questions that may arise during the process.
3.) Once your application has been approved, our adoption coordinator will contact you with the good news! At this time we will set up a meet and greet for your family and the dog you would like to adopt.
4.) If at the meet and greet your entire family loves the dog, feels like they are a good match for your family and our adoption coordinator feels as though your home will provide the dog with the best possible care, an Adoption Agreement is signed, an adoption fee paid, and information about the dog's past veterinary care, feeding schedule, etc is shared. The dog is able to stay with your family at this time.
5.) Our adoption fee is $250.00 for all dogs and puppies. All animals have been seen by a licensed veterinarian and given a comprehensive wellness exam, are current on all age appropriate vaccines including DHPP, Rabies, and Bordatella, and have received proper internal and external parasite control as well as have been spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
