We are a NO KILL canine maternity/neonatal/toddler rescue. We do take older canines as space allows.
We do take owner surrenders as space allows and require a $25.00 fee in order to get the animal up to date on vaccinations. This fee is waived if you have a local vet that can verify vaccinations. In order to begin working on a foster for the animal(s) we request that you send an email to drandmashouse@hotmail.com with a picture of the animal, the animals age, weight, vetting info, temperament issues, if the animal is good with dogs, cats, kids, farm animals, etc. Also, a personal note about the animal.

We are a foster based rescue serving Douglas, Wright, Webster, and Ozark counties in Missouri.
When you adopt a dog from A Bridge Between you receive a fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and healthy new best friend. Our babies have been socialized in a home setting, began or completed potty training, and are ready to go to their furever home.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption fee offsets the veterinarian services for each animal. All animals are fully vetted and spay/neutered prior to adoption.
Our adoption process consists of completed adoption application, veterinarian reference check, review of lease agreement pertaining to animal ownership if you do not own your home. We also require an in home visit with the family in order to assure that everyone is agreeable to the adoption and that the dog of choice is a good fit for the family.
We require that all current dogs/cats in the home be up to date on vaccinations and spay/neutered. This is not only a way to alleviate the pet overpopulation, it is also healthier for the animals.
