Helping Out Little Dogs Pet Rescue, Inc. Dog rescue in Rescue, CA

Welcome to H.O.L.D. Pet Rescue, Inc., where the life of every dog matters.

We are a small, non-profit animal rescue organization located in Cameron Park, California (Northern California). Our organization consists of all volunteers. There are no employees, no administration fees and no professional fund-raisers to pay.

Most of our dogs come from animal shelters throughout Northern, central and sometimes Southern California. We rescue small dogs generally weighing under 15 pounds from area shelters. We focus on pulling dogs that are in danger of being euthanized. After rescuing a dog from a shelter, the dog is medically examined by a licensed veterinarian and treated (if necessary). Each adoptable dog is vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped (spay / neuter arrangements may differ if you are adopting a puppy). Only after providing these services do we begin our search for qualified homes.
