Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees are determined by the individual animal. We take into consideration its age, training that we may add, and veterinary financials that the animal has required, although the greater the veterinary investment does not necessarily mean the higher the adoption fee. Animals that have been spayed or neutered but are excellent adoptable animals in every way and are young may have the spay or neuter fee added into their adoption fee, and there may not be any other fee involved. Any animal advertised for adoption will have their adoption fee listed with the animal. There is an adoption application, and we may require a home check or photos of where the animal will be kept on a daily basis. We do require an adoption contract, which specifies that the animal will be given shelter, daily cleanout, water, food, veterinary maintenance and care, friendship and companionship, and that if those daily requirements cannot be maintained, that the animal will be returned to Hearts & Hands Animal Rescue, or H n H is to approve any new home that the animal's current caretakers would like it to be adopted out to, at no charge to the rescue.
