ReFURbished Canine Rescue is a small, 501c3, all volunteer rescue group, based in the Triangle area. Our mission is to rescue, care for, and re-home neglected, abused and or homeless dogs. Four feet, fur, and a good temperament are our requirements. Actually- they can have less than four feet!
We rescue dogs mostly from area shelters, that are in danger of being euthanized often only due to lack of space. ReFURbished Canine Rescue spays and neuters all animals in their care before adoption, helping decrease the companion pet overpopulation problem. Our dogs are fostered in private homes where they learn manners, become socialized with other animals, and spoiled with loving care. They remain in our care until placed in a FUR-ever home
We also provide education to the public regarding the humane care and treatment of all animals. We partner with area shelters and other rescues in an effort to increase adoptions.

Additional adoption info
We require a completed adoption application; the application is reviewed, references will be checked before the animal will be adopted. Completing the application does not obligate you or ReFURbished Canine Rescue to the adoption, but is the first step in order to be considered.
Our adoption fees vary so please refer to the pet’s profile for information on the adoption fee.
Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, monthly heartworm/flea preventatives up to the time of adoption, de-worming, and microchip.
