Promised Land Dog Fosters is a small, private rescue. We opened the doors of our home in September of 2009 to provide foster care for our local Humane Society. Since then we have expanded our efforts and now provide foster care for 3 rescue organizations as well as independently rescuing and re-homing dogs.
At Promised Land Dog Fosters we focus on small, docile, primarily female dogs. This allows us to care for more animals at one time and to become more familiar with their personalities and habits. All dogs in our care have been spayed, vaccinated, tested for heart worms and on flea/tick prevention.
All veterinary expenses for the dogs we independently rescue come from our personal income. The cost of food for all dogs in our care, we feed Natural Balance, comes from our personal income as well. All donations are accepted and GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Additional adoption info
Because we participate in rescue with several organizations, our adoption fees, requirements and contracts are specific to each adoption.
All requests for information about adoptable dogs will receive a response within 24 hours. If referred to another rescue organization to complete the adoption process, no guarantee is made regarding response time.
In general these are our minimum requirements for adoption:
Each adopter must be 21 years of age or older.
Each adopter must complete an adoption application.
Each adopter must be willing to sit down with an adoption coordinator for a 'meet and greet' with the animal and possibly a home visit.
