We have been an existence for 20 years starting out as an affiliate of 4-H. Concerned Ferret Owners branched out as an independent organization for the sole purpose of rescue and adoption in 2005 upon realizing that there was a great need in the New Jersey area for this service.

Potential adopters must first fill out an application upon review they are then contacted for a in house interview. If they have a ferret that they are trying to find a companion for they are able to bring along with the appropriate paper work or verification of vaccinations. There is an adoption fee that varies depending on the age etc of the animal.
