The West Orange Animal Welfare League (WOAWL) was formed in 1977 and is an entirely volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working in cooperation with the township of West Orange's animal control facility to help impounded animals find new homes. Though times have changed and our organization has evolved, our goal has always remained the same -- to find safe and happy homes for homeless and abandoned animals.
