Animal Place is a non-profit sanctuary that rescues neglected and abused farmed animals, like cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, goats, turkeys and rabbits. We operate a 600-acre sanctuary in Grass Valley where animals are housed permanently, and we run a 60-acre adoption center in Vacaville that provides temporary housing to adoptable animals.
Our Rescue Ranch program works directly with egg farmers to pull "spent" laying hens and rescue them instead of slaughter.
