Rattie Tattie Rescue is located in the Cincinnati, OH. We have
been doing rat rescue for 10 years and have placed hundreds of rats into
their loving forever homes.
We have foster homes through out Cincinnati, Dayton, and North Kentucky.
We do not breed rats at our rescue and do not support the breeding of any animal.
We do not adopt our rats out to for
research or to be used as breeders or feeders.
All rats are pets only and we do screen all of our potential homes and require the adoption questionnaire to be filled out completely.
We receive no profits from running the rescue. This is something we do purely for the love of rats and we dedicate a lot of time and money to ensure that the rats that come here are cared for and find their perfect homes.

This rescue doesn’t have any adoptable pets right now – check out adoptable pets nearby or start a custom pet search below.

All potential adopters must read through these policies and our adoption contracts in order to understand what is expected of the adopter before and after the adoption of our rats. By signing the adoption contract upon pick up of your rats, you are agreeing to all stipulations located here and on the contract.
Rattie Tattie Rescue retains all ownership rights of rats until both the rescue and the adopter have signed the contract. Rats are to go to loving homes and not to be used as breeders or feeders. We reserve the right to decline any adoption application for any reason.
If you currently do not own rats, we can only adopt out in pairs.
(Rats are social creatures and need companionship)
If you are adopting a new rattie friend for your current rat(s) that is ok.
Adoption fees are as follows:

Pair $20
Trio $25
Quad $30
**We will be more than happy to neuter or spay your rat(s)!
House Pets For House Pets on Beechmont Ave. does rat neuters for $50.

The adoption fee is for several reasons, to ensure that applicants are serious about the pet adoption, to help with the cost of care for our ratties and to ensure that rats will not be used as feeders.
We require the adoption application to be filled out honestly and completely.
If you do not own your home and are renting you must provide proof from your landlord that rats are permitted as pets in your home.
We require weekly updates of your new ratties for the first month.
If you move, change phone numbers, email addresses, etc., you must let us know so we have a means of contacting you for updates in the future.
If you must give up your rats in the future, or can no longer care for them, they must be returned to us. We must approve of any other home before the rats are placed with any other person.
If you have any questions regarding our policies, please contact us directly.
