Rescue FAQs

We do rescues from all areas. We pull from shelters that have a high kill potential and retrain if necessary any dogs that need to be house broken, people savy etc. We also take in strays and owner surrender animals from around Frederick County, VA, Berkeley County WV and surrounding cities and towns.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption donations vary according to the expense of each pet. Some are $100 and some have been as high as $650.00 depending on our expense at the time. We only ask for donations that are necessary. We ask for two to three references, the veterinarian they use and then we check them out to make sure they would be a good fit for our animals. All our animals are health checked,spayed and neutered, shots, wormed and micro-chipped.
