Pittsburgh Pit Bull's mission is to rescue homeless Pit Bulls from Pittsburgh area animal shelters, provide proper rehabilitation and care to those Pit Bulls, and find them permanent, loving homes. Pittsburgh Pit Bull Rescue is also an educational organization that provides educational support to communities in and around the Pittsburgh area.

To adopt one of our rescue dogs you will first have to fill out our adoption application here (copy and paste to your browser) http://www.pittsburghpitbullrescue.com/adoption_application.html and a PPBR director will screen each adoption application. If all passes you will then you can meet our adoptee and if everything works out a home check will follow. If everything works you will need to fill out our adoption contact and CONGRADULATIONS you just saved a life. The adoptee is yours.
