Who Are Rescue Angels?
We are dedicated volunteers that have been rescuing animals since 1998. The animals that we rescue have run out of time in the kill shelters. We make no profits from our rescue endeavors. Our purpose is to give a second chance to as many animals as we reasonably can. Our goal is to control pet population by Spay & Neuter and to find responsible, committed and long-term pet owners.
Where do the animals come from?
Most of Rescue Angels' animals are saved from "Death Row". Meaning, their time to live has run out. Kill shelter animals are either owner give-up's (Throw-aways), found abandoned, or they are the stray that nobody wants. Typically, we do not take animals from the public.
What happens once they are saved from "Death Row"?
Once a Rescue Angel pet has been taken out of a kill shelter, they begin a brand new life. They are not kept in cages. They live in private foster homes with our family and pets. Once they are settled in, they will be fully vetted, spayed or neutered and the search for a permanent family begins.
