Bandit's Place Animal Rescue

Animal rescue in East Hartland, CT

Bandit's Place was named after my first, and most wonderful dog, Bandit She was pulled from the New Britain dog pound and I was lucky enough to have 10 wonderful years with her. When I knew she was dying, I made a promise to her that I would always help other animals like her find permanent, loving homes. I told her it didn't matter where they came from but it would matter greatly where they went. I've been able to keep that promise to her and always will. Bandit's Place takes in abused, neglected and abandoned pets from across the United States. We are not a breed specific rescue. We're registered, non-profit. Our animals stay with us until the perfect home is found. We also appear weekly on WFSB's Lost & Pound segment. I started this about 12 -13 years ago with Channel 30 (NBC) and continued on with Channel 3 (WFSB). I showcase dogs and cats (and other critters!) available through other rescues and shelters across CT. I've been blessed with being able to do 3 segments in all and I greatly thank WFSB for their allowing me to be there!!

Additional adoption info

We have an application process that must be gone through prior to adoption. Visits to our shelter are done by appointment only, as sometimes the animals are not on site and we have to arrange for them to be here. Costs for adoption vary by animal but dogs start at $200.00. There is no cost to apply, though!
