I am a 61 year old woman who has been doing rescue for about 12 years. I do one-dog-at-a-time, home based rescue, and have found a niche with shy dogs. I do it because it love animals and it needs to be done to reduce the number of great animals winding up in landfills. It just breaks my heart.
