Rescue FAQs

Due to a lack of volunteers and funding, we are only working on ongoing trap-neuter-return sites that were already active with us. We are not accepting new TNR projects. We are still accepting donations for the ongoing large projects, an estimated total of 80 cats on various properties.
If you would like more information about feral cats in general, and what to do when you find a cat, please see Alley Cat Allies' Help page. http://www.alleycat.org/page.aspx?pid=984
The only other local organization providing trap-neuter-return and spay/neuter assistance for cats is Paws & Claws. http://www.pcbpawsandclaws.org/
As always, please refrain from sending e-mails about "getting rid of", relocating, or accepting an animal.
If you are looking for low cost spay/neuter resources, the local clinics are: Panama City Beach, Florida - VetsPets, 8905 Front Beach Rd. - (850) 233-7800 Panama City, Florida - Parkway Animal Hospital, 739 South Tyndall Pkwy.- (850) 763-8387 Freeport, Florida - Freeport Pet Clinic, 907 State Highway 20 E - (850) 835-1500 Dothan, Alabama - Wiregrass Spay/Neuter Alliance, 570 South Foster St., (334) 671-8111
Spay/neuter and rabies vaccine for cats is approximately 50/35 at these clinics. There is no need to go through an organization, as the prices are the same for the public. Please contact these clinics directly.
