C.A.R.A

Animal rescue in Tilton, IL

.A.R.A. Citizens for Animal Rescue and Adoption is a volunteer, non-profit organization who gives homeless animals a shelter until they find their forever homes. We have about 135 cats and 16 dogs who reside with us. We have spayed and neutered over 1200 animals and found homes for over 500 pets. C.A.R.A. takes in animals who are lost or surrendered and rehabilitates them until they are ready for adoption. We want to educate as many people as possible about the importance of adopting homeless animals and ways communities can get involved to help.
Our number one goal is to find the perfect match for our homeless pets and give them the best life we can until their forever home comes along. Products:The pets we adopt out are all up to date on vaccines, sterilized, microchipped, & have also had flea and ear treatment. We highly promote the importance of spaying and neutering & the effect it has on the pet overpopulation crises America is facing. C.A.R.A. has many goals for the future and we look forward to seeing them unfold.
