We are the Humane Society for Warren County Tennessee. We have been around since 1979. We no longer have a shelter but we do still have members that work hard to help unwanted and abused dogs and cats, we also help any animal in need from horses to groundhogs. We work in cooperation with many local rescue organizations that help us rescue many dogs and cats and with local law enforcement with animal abuse and neglect cases. Rescue FAQs

The Humane Society no longer has a building to house the animals that we help but we do have pets available for adoption that are kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Please contact us if you are interested in a pet and we will line up a place and time for you to meet. If you would be interested in becoming a foster family please contact us, the more foster homes we have the more animals we will be able to save.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $250.00 which helps us to cover the cost of vaccinations, heart worm test, spay/neuter, vet visit, fecal exam and wormer if needed, frontline, and other costs associated with their care. We also require an adoption application to be filled out that will be sent to you once we receive your email address. We also have an adoption contract that must be signed when adopting any dog or cat from us.
