Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our available animals, first complete an adoption application which you can request from methnerssecondchancerescue@yahoo.com. Your application will be screened thoroughly to ensure the best homes possible for our rescued animals. A home visit will also be done with the animal to see where the animal will be living and how it adjusts to the members of your household. Most of our animals are groomed, spayed/neutered, heart worm tested negative, current on vaccinations and kept current on monthly heart worm and flea prevention. If you are renting your home, we will be calling your landlord, so please verify it is ok to have the pet before applying. We will also be calling your veterinarian for a reference so make sure your current pets are up to date on everything. If you are interested in adopting, please email us for an application. We reserve the right to deny any application.
If you are an approved home the adoption fee's as followed:
Kittens & Cats not altered: $50 plus a pre-pay spay/neutered at adopter's vet
Cats altered: $100
Puppies and Dogs not altered: $150 plus a pre-pay spay/neutered at the adopter's vet
Dogs altered: $200
All animals adopted are up to date on all vaccinations.
