Waiting For You Pet Rescue

Dog rescue in Centerville, OH

We are a registered small nonprofit rescue dedicated to rescuing puppy mill survivors, but we also take in owner surrenders and any otherwise neglected, abused, or abandoned dogs needing a safe haven. We teach each rescued dog how to live inside as a member of the family, like every dog should! This is their first real taste of love and kindness. Each mill survivor takes a different amount of time to come around. For most, it is a slow process. Even when they come around for us, they will probably take some time again to come around for their new "parents". They will soon be excited to see YOU! :) We are always happy to answer any questions you have before, during, and AFTER you bring your new addition home also.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $100 for adults and $150 for puppies. All adopters must sign a contract stating basically that their new pet will live inside as a member of the family. They must have a leash or harness with an id tag on at all times. They should never be allowed off leash unless in adequate fencing. They must be provided routine vet care and be kept on heartworm preventative for their lifetime. If adopter cannot keep the dog for any reason ever, the dog MUST be returned to our Rescue. You must agree to have your pet spayed or neutered if not already done so! Our main goal is to get these dogs into a permanent, patient, loving forever home. They have been through so much! They need to be placed into forever homes with passionate people!
