Island Dogz Rescue

Dog rescue in Duncan, BC

Island Dogz Rescues local dogs with urgent need, as well as dogs from Taiwan. After learning about the plight facing dogs in Taiwan and speaking to the incredible workers in a shelter in Taichung, we knew we had to be a part of that team. We are a group of dedicated volunteers that came together in 2009 to foster and rehabilitate the dogs in our homes.

We adopt dogs primarily to Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. Out of area adoptions will be considered on an individual basis

Additional adoption info

Step1> Fill out and return an adoption application.
Step 2> Scheduled Home Visit
Step 3> Reference Checks
Step 4> Meet & Greet with potentail dog match

Step 5 Sign Adoption Contract

Fees are $200 - $450 depending on age of dog
