Northern Bound Rescue

Dog rescue in Southington, CT

We started doing volunteer work back in 2004 working for several rescue groups during that time. Then we decided to open our own rescue and became a non profit and that's how we ended up here.
We pull from high kill shelters in Georgia. We just want to help give these pups a shot at a good home and great life. It is now our mission to try and place them in the best possible environment.
We are a small group of volunteers and are always looking for help and donations. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a foster home. Foster homes help greatly and allow us to help begin socializing these pups and correcting any damage done to them. We are a small rescue and believe in quality over quantity...meaning we only pull 4-6 dogs a month to assure that all our dogs are in the best possible health and are well socialized. Most of our dogs are off leash trained so by the time they get home the don't need to be contained when they go outside to potty!
We are so grateful to all our forever families who saved a life...without your kindness and compassion we couldn't do what we do to try and save these poor little souls that someone threw away.
