The Downtown Dogs Group is a small rescue group. While we have many highly adoptable dogs and puppies, we do also take dogs typically deemed "unadoptable" by other rescues for reasons such as age, breed or medical problems. We are a NO-KILL rescue and do not euthanize except in cases of severe, painful and non-treatable medical conditions.

All of New England.
Additional adoption info
Potential adopters should contact the group for an application, and will undergo a screening process. Adoption fees vary but will include the cost of a transport to your area. Currently, all dogs are being fostered in TN; therefore, it is not possible to meet your pet prior to adoption. We have facilitated many adoptions through northern rescues and shelters. The process works very well, and is utilized by many rescues in the South. We use several dog transports that are very experienced and there are several New England stops from which to choose. Your pet will arrive current on vaccinations and already spayed/neutered. Thank you for your interest in our pets and for giving us a chance to adopt our babies out to wonderful families.
