Angel’s Haven is a non-profit mission created to help cut back on the senseless killing of homeless animals simply due to overpopulation. We believe that prevention is the most important weapon we have in fighting this battle. Our goals are to save as many lives as possible and educate the public on four key issues:
1. Effects of allowing intact pets to roam free or allowing pets to have “just one litter” as well as medical implications of leaving a pet intact
2. The realities about buying pets from pet stores, unqualified breeders and in return murdering other loving and healthy pets that are already homeless through no fault of their own
3. The fundamentals about feral cat populations and the effect TNR programs have on both disease and overpopulation prevention
4. Places to go for help in order to ensure we are preventing the problem and reputable places to buy your “friends” from that are healthy and aren’t supporting puppy mill or like operations creating much of the problem today.
Aside from public education, Angel’s Haven:
1. Cares for, rehabilitates, and re-homes abused, homeless, or simply misunderstood pets into the right environment.
2. Provides assistance to the public in setting up TNR programs in problem neighborhoods.
3. Assists other shelters in caring for, helping to re-home, and offers support in other rescues fundraising efforts. Angel’s Haven securely believes that anyone running a rescue or is involved in efforts to save lives are all in this together and are deserving of each other’s assistance.

Additional adoption info
Angel's Haven strives to find the perfect match for both the pet and family, creating a final placement in a forever loving home. Interested adopters are asked to fill out a questionnaire in order to determine if the pet is the right match for the family. Upon approval, applicants are contacted to come for a visit and bring any family members(furry or not) along for the meet and greet. Providing all goes well, the contract will then be signed and the family will be able to take their new friend home the same day. We do reserve the right to a home visit and follow up if we see fit. Should things not go well in the new home for any reason, our friends are to come back "home" until we can find them the perfect place.
