A little About Us
AVAnimal Rescue was founded in 2000 by Cheryl Schrader.
We are located in Boonville Calif. in Mendocino County Anderson Valley. We are a non-profit organization - your donations are tax-deductible.
We are committed to caring for homeless cats and dogs and establishing a no kill community for cats and dogs in Mendocino County.
AVAnimal Rescue is dedicated to caring for and improving the lives of cats and dogs, and educating their owners as well as the general populace.
Our volunteers provide temporary shelter, medical care, and love for our dogs and cats awaiting a permanent home.
It is our goal to be a well-organized, efficient, compassionate organization
that is supported by the community, and successful in it’s “no-kill” mission.
