For the Sake of the Dogs rescues dogs of all shapes and sizes, but we especially love the cattle dogs (border collies, queensland heelers, etc.)!
We are supported solely through donations and volunteer helpers.
Create an alert, and we'll notify you every time a new pet comes in who meets your criteria.

We serve mainly Fresno and Clovis, but have visitors from all surrounding cities and counties too. We are excited to have had our fur babies be adopted by families as far away as Oregon!
Additional adoption info
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please let us know through email or a phone call (indicating the dogs name and ID number) and we will bring him/her out to Petco at Herndon and Clovis on Saturdays from 10 - 3 or Petco in the El Paseo Shopping Center on Sundays from 11 - 2 for you to meet. Please understand that we try to bring the requested dogs to our Adoption Events but it is not always possible.
All dogs adopted from "For the Sake of the Dogs" are spay/neutered, and are up to date on vaccinations.
At this time, we accept cash or checks for the adoption fees.
If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider a donation.
