Primarily we rescue and adopt the kittens of feral and stray mother cats. We also take in friendly kittens with or without mother cats if we have room at foster homes. In all cases we try to determine the where-abouts of the mother cats and provide options to spay the mother cat.
We have a small sanctuary primarily to care for the feral cats we rescue and mostly rely on foster care for the pets we take in.
We make every attempt to spay the mother cat (or dog) of the puppies and kittens we rescue. If the mother is tame we add her to our adoptable pets and try to find a foster home. We return feral mothers to the location trapped if safe to live their lives with no more kittens.
We also provide assistance with trapping feral cats through loaning traps when available and providing advice for trap-neuter-release/return.
In cases where a stray or feral cat has kittens, we may be able to take friendly kittens and foster them for adoption. We request a donation to cover testing for FELV and FIV and spay the mother cat and will return the mother cat to you to care for.
We can provide barn cats from our feral colonies. These cats have been fixed and vaccinated and can be used for rodent control.
We rely mostly on donations to continue our rescue work and maintain the tiny sanctuary.
