The Invermere Companion Animal Network Society (ICAN) is a non-profit, volunteer based rescue in Invermere, BC. We take in abandoned and neglected companion animals, attend to their veterinary needs including spay/neuter and any special care required and place them in loving forever homes.
ICAN is a no-cage, no-kill shelter facility, we also rely on foster home for the mature or very young.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees received over the suggested amount are always welcome to cover expenses incurred such as vet fees, food, litter, vaccinations etc. Animals are spayed or neutered before going to their new home.

Please note that once your application is received, it will take a couple days to review the application. ICAN is open to the public Tues-Sat from 11-3pm, closed all Stat days.
